We need your voice to be heard! In 2004 the Library entered into discussion and planning to expand our facilities. Much has been done since this time to further the project: in 2005 the final concept was completed. In 2007 we applied for the CAMRIF grant program; we were denied funding.

Despite this setback, we forged ahead with Plan B and prepared a grant application for the Major Community Facilities Program with the Provincial government. This funding will allow our plans to move forward at an even faster pace. To achieve this goal, it is imperative we have the support of our MLA.

How You Can Help: Your government needs to see that the Citizens of Olds want the library expansion to happen! The best way to communicate this desire is still through the written word. We ask that you write a letter to your MLA. Please let him know what the library means to you and that you would like to see his support for provincial funding.
