At the Olds Municipal Library we strive to better where we live by acting as a hub for the community. We work hard to bring you quality programs that encourage learning and literacy and are dedicated to providing convenient access to resources that meet the lifelong information needs of the citizens of our community. In the age of information overload, your local library acts as a filter, making sure you find exactly what you're looking for. And if we can't find it, we'll find someone who can!

Unfortunately, without proper funding, no public service can continue to provide the quality of care directed by it's mandate. Since 1993, the Alberta Government has made severe cutbacks to all public services - not just its libraries - the effects of which are still being felt today.

We must rely on our sponsors and Friends of the Library to help fill in the gap so we can bring you the services you want and need.
