Red Hot Science Program - Grades 6-8
Another Red Hot Science program from Red Deer College! This project introduces the Hummingbird Duo Robotics Kit. Students will learn the definition of a robot and tie this back to the motors, sensors, LEDs, and controller in the kit. Students will work with these components and design a unique creation.
Registration is required.
Open to students in grades 6-8. Participants will attend independently and must adhere to the Red Hot Science Program guidelines (below). Please call the library to register.
Guidelines for Red Hot Science Programs:
Participants will fill out a COVID survey/ confirm they have no symptoms, have not traveled, have not been in contact with anyone with COVID or COVID symptoms, and are not waiting for COVID results
• Participants will need to use hand sanitizer before entering the program space
• Participants, library staff, and RDC staff will wear masks throughout the program
